Reporting a bug

Tell us:

the tool or page you were on, and what you clicked
what you expected, and what happened instead
Minecraft Java or Bedrock, and how you installed it (launcher, Microsoft Store, CurseForge, and so on)
a screenshot, if you can

Please do not send passwords or account details. We will never ask for them.

Common questions

Is it free?

Yes. Every tool is free, supported by ads. MCTools+ is coming soon and nothing is for sale yet, so there is nothing to bill or refund.

My pack, restore, or settings change did nothing.

Close Minecraft first. The app will not change a game's files while that game is running, so nothing gets corrupted.

Where are my files?

The app keeps your work, settings, and backups in %APPDATA%\MCTools. Packs you install go into your Minecraft pack folders.

How do I remove the app and its data?

Uninstall MCTools from Overwolf, then delete the %APPDATA%\MCTools folder. Remove installed packs from the app's Installed page first if you want them gone too.

I saw a bad or broken ad.

Send us a screenshot and the time you saw it. Ads come from Overwolf's ad system, and we pass reports on to them.

What does the app collect?

No account, no analytics of its own, and your files stay on your PC. The full details are in the MCTools App Privacy Policy.
